H-U-S-T-O-N FAMILY of 5! I met with this SWEET baby Reid and his chubby kissy cheeks for newborn photos at the studio. Mom really really wanted family pics with their new little love, however dad was tied up at the farm and couldn’t make it so we decided to meet at the farm this fall for a few family snapshots. (SCROLL DOWN!! )
I jumped in the car with mom & kids…we had to hunt dad down in between the few farm sites. With a change of his shirt dad was ready to rock. Mom said she loved how the sun sets over the horizon line behind their pasture, LUCKY US, sunset + smiling kids= successful family photoshoot!
Backlighting & a tutu with flower crown to match, every little girl deserves a few glamor shots!

I feel a little terrible taunting these beautiful children’s photos around because we were fortunate with a pretty amazing evening to capture these 2 cuties!

THEY WERE ADORABLE! I was shocked, during the entire session they bonded and loved each other. SO caring & sweet. I know mom mentioned the words, “Dairy Queen” numerous times but stillll….
Mom brought an additional outfit for miss Callie to get a few shots for her 2 year photos. I thought these were just a hoot!
There was no posing or conning her into doing certain things, these poses were alllll natur-al!

JACKSON’S BACK! This time he joined the rest of the crew along for a family session.
And could they be any cuter??
NOPE! Things I adored about this session: 1\They are literally the sweetest family EVER 2\Check out these outfits?! Nothing over the top. Simple. They don’t match, they coordinate (THAT’S KEY!) 3\The colors. From the scenery to the wardrobe, the tones of this shoot are neutral, classical, and STUNNING for a late summer shoot.
Things we did not adore about this shoot: 1/BUGS 2/BUG 3/BUGS. What you don’t see is when mom and dad weren’t in front of the camera, they were jumping up and down waving a cardigan mom brought along trying to make enough draft to blow the mosquitoes off of the children and in between shots I would spray the ground and sides of props with bug spray.

Her session..AMAZING. Little did either of us or anyone know that this would be her last day with her sweet baby bump.

Leave it up to this crew to have the cutest ideas organized, a wagon train for the kids! After the scotch tape, pep talks…

we got everyone seated and ready to rock the shot!

Then back to the grown ups it was!
I LOVE extended family’s! It can be a daunting task to organize outfits, smiles, kids, dads…, sanity BUT I come prepared with plenty of energy, props, toys, and craziness myself so everyone can just have fun and be themselves.
Need I say more?!
